Key Responsibilities
🔹 Electrical Design Manager / Engineer
- Lead detailed electrical design and engineering for industrial and process plants, including steel plants and coal handling facilities.
- Conduct load calculations, sizing, and selection of electrical equipment to optimize power distribution systems.
- Prepare and review electrical power distribution layouts and SCADA system designs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, industry standards, and company policies.
🔹 Electrical Designer / Draftsman / Modeller
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), cable tray layouts, lighting layouts, earthing & lightning protection systems.
- Design fire alarm, public address, and CCTV system layouts with accuracy.
- Create Lighting & Auxiliary Power Distribution Board (DB) schedules.
- Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) lists and Electrical Bill of Quantities (BOQs).
- Perform lighting calculations using Dialux or manual methods.
- Utilize 3D modeling software like REVIT-MEP and AVEVA-E3D for precise electrical designs.
Skills & Qualifications
✅ Essential Qualifications
- Full-time Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BE/BTech) for Managers/Engineers.
- ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering for Designers/Draftsmen/Modellers.
- 5 to 20 years of relevant experience in electrical design for industrial plants, steel plants, or minerals & metals sectors.
✅ Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Proficient in electrical power distribution system design and load calculation.
- Experience with Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and electrical layouts.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and industrial electrical codes.
- Skilled in Dialux lighting calculations.
- Hands-on experience with 3D electrical design tools such as REVIT-MEP and AVEVA-E3D is a strong plus.
