Key Responsibilities

Organization Readiness & Consolidation

  • Define and implement integration vision, strategy, and guiding principles.
  • Collaborate with C-suite executives and stakeholders to design target operating models and governance frameworks.
  • Plan and execute Day 1 / Day 100 readiness checklists and workplans.
  • Contribute to the Integration Management Office (IMO) for end-to-end program management.

IT Integration & Transformation

  • Assess IT landscapes to identify synergies and dis-synergies post-deal.
  • Lead vendor evaluation, contract review, and cost efficiency recommendations.
  • Facilitate execution of IT integration across operations and functions.
  • Plan and manage Integration/Transformation Management Office activities.

Carve-out & Separation Strategy

  • Develop separation strategies and assess operational readiness.
  • Evaluate financial, operational, and organizational interdependencies.
  • Establish Step-wise separation roadmaps including TSA schedules and exit strategies.
  • Manage Separation Management Office (SMO) across all workstreams.
  • Model costs related to separation and stranded operations.

Commercial & Operational Diligence

  • Assess strategic and commercial feasibility of M&A deals.
  • Evaluate current business capabilities and operational risks.
  • Identify post-deal transformation opportunities leveraging industry best practices.
  • Support functional integration planning for Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, HR.

Synergy Assessment & Realization

  • Identify potential synergies and dis-synergies.
  • Define roadmaps for synergy delivery and benefit tracking.
  • Work closely with functional leads to ensure realization of integration benefits.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in M&A advisory, post-merger integration, and transformation programs.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Expertise in enterprise systems, IT architecture, vendor management, and process reengineering.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to mentor senior consultants, junior consultants, and analysts.
  • Competence in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and program management tools.
  • Comfort in a client-facing, high-pressure, global environment with frequent travel.

Qualifications

  • MBA preferred, with excellent academic credentials.
  • Prior experience leading large-scale M&A engagements and technology-led transformations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive client engagements independently.
  • Strong analytical acumen, business awareness, and influencing skills.
