Key Responsibilities
As a Director of Project Controlling & MIS, you will:
Cost Management & Optimization
- Lead project cost analysis and cost control initiatives across service lines.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor and report on cost variances, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Resource Management and Procurement to maximize efficiency and value.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Oversee cash forecasting, realization of billed/unbilled debtors, and variation analysis.
- Optimize working capital through receivables and payables initiatives.
- Ensure accurate and timely cash plan reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with treasury and business teams to drive financial efficiency.
Billing Planning
- Support revenue and billing forecast generation.
- Monitor gaps between billing plans, engagement terms, and actuals.
- Partner with business teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
Financial Operations Excellence
- Lead touchless finance operations and automation initiatives.
- Engage with business teams to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions.
- Oversee UAT, testing, and adoption of finance transformation tools.
- Accountable for ROI from technology investments in finance processes.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to project controls and financial policies.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
- Collaborate with QRM and Delivery Excellence teams for cost and cash assessments.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Mentor and manage a team of finance professionals.
- Act as a strategic partner to service line leaders and executive management.
- Present financial insights, recommendations, and scenario analysis to senior stakeholders.
Skills & Expertise
- Strong experience in finance transformation and project controlling.
- Expertise in SAP, Anaplan, I-certis, FieldGlass, and advanced Excel.
- Hands-on experience creating dashboards, reports, and MIS solutions.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage change, drive efficiency, and deliver high-quality results.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance.
- 12–15 years of progressive experience in finance/operations.
- Prior experience in Big 4 or large services organization preferred.
- Proven record in cost control, cash flow management, and finance transformation projects.
