✅ Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of desktop systems, solutions, and secure configurations using Windows 11 Security Baselines.
- Provide L4 escalation support for platform, driver, and firmware issues; collaborate with OEMs for root cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain loadset images and scripted installers (MSI, MSIX).
- Implement and manage Windows Update for Business/Autopatch rings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design compliant solutions balancing security, performance, and cost.
- Utilize telemetry and reporting (Nexthink, Power BI) to measure application deployment success.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation: release notes, runbooks, support KBs, implementation plans.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide teams across time zones to maintain engineering best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and IT service offerings.
⚡ Key Skills
- Strong expertise in Windows OS and desktop integration technologies.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills: Windows 11, M365 Apps, Bitlocker, Teams, OneDrive.
- PowerShell scripting and automation for diagnostics and deployments.
- Proficient in Intune, Config Manager, GPO, Entra ID, Conditional Access.
- Familiarity with virtualization: Hyper-V, WVD, RemoteApp, Win365.
- Experience with loadset image creation and hardware configuration.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow for incident, problem, and change management.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 8–10 years of experience in engineering roles, including project management and system design.
- Proven track record in delivering high-quality, scalable desktop engineering solutions.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Certifications (optional but preferred): Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
