Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality IT risk consulting services on time and within budget.
- Foster relationships with clients to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems and security at procedural and technology levels.
- Identify engagement and client service issues by monitoring current IT environments and industry trends.
- Conduct IT internal control reviews and evaluate SOC1/SOC2 reports.
- Design and implement IT Risk Controls frameworks, including IT SOX, internal controls, and interface controls.
- Identify control gaps and areas for improvement; facilitate remediation activities.
- Perform IT infrastructure and architecture risk assessments, including data quality, data migration, and data privacy reviews.
- Collaborate with internal audits, IT security, and business stakeholders to ensure effective control implementation.
- Prepare professional documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Proven experience in IT Risk, IT Controls, and Compliance.
- Strong knowledge of COSO, COBIT, ISO, NIST frameworks.
- Experience with emerging technologies such as Cloud, RPA, AI/ML.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and client engagement skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or related fields.
- 3–6 years of relevant work experience, including 2–4 years in IT Risk and Compliance.
- Hands-on experience with designing, implementing, and testing IT general controls, application controls, and other IT risk frameworks.
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CCSK, ISO 27001 are highly desirable.
