Key Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration, deployment, and management of MacOS desktops in enterprise environments.
- Automate and optimize workflows using scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Python, and VB.
- Implement modern zero-touch deployment methodologies (DEP) and manage Intune policies.
- Troubleshoot MacOS applications including OPP, Teams, OneDrive, IE/Edge, and Chrome.
- Monitor and maintain MacOS security baselines and compliance standards.
- Document processes, fixes, and system configurations for knowledge sharing.
- Use Nexthink and DEX data to enhance the digital employee experience.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams, management, and clients.
- Assist in classifying, prioritizing, and resolving incidents, problems, and changes using ServiceNow or similar tools.
- Oversee MacOS packaging, deployment automation, and open-source tools like Munki, Swift Dialogue, Mist, and Installomator.
Required Skills
- In-depth expertise in MacOS desktop management and configuration.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise tools: Intune, Munki, DEP, Nexthink, and GitHub Actions.
- Advanced scripting/programming skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, and VB.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and MacOS security fundamentals.
- Understanding of network concepts: DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Zscaler, and Proxies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work independently under pressure while mentoring junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Approximately 10 years of experience in MacOS desktop engineering/management.
- Relevant certifications in MacOS, IT administration, or endpoint management are a plus.
