Key Responsibilities
Business & Store Development
- Drive store business initiatives by engaging with architects, interior designers, builders, and in-store teams.
- Manage multiple stores geographically for maintenance, dealer coordination, and new store launches.
- Develop and deliver business numbers through effective leadership of interior designers and project management associates.
Customer Engagement & Project Management
- Develop and maintain requirement gathering processes.
- Handle high-value and high-profile projects from design concept to execution.
- Communicate with internal teams for pricing, order processing, and escalation management.
- Ensure consultation process adherence and timely follow-ups.
- Strategize for upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Hire, induct, and mentor store team members to guide customers on material selection, design concepts, and feasibility.
- Set standards for space planning, mood boards, and design aesthetics.
- Monitor and support store P&L and business performance.
- Provide regular training and collateral to store teams for sales target achievement.
Technical Skills
- Assess customer requirements and translate briefs into design solutions.
- Strong aesthetic sense and understanding of space planning.
- Ability to create 3D renders, sketches, storyboards, and mood boards.
- System/process improvement for business needs.
- Strategizing for cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
Interpersonal & Behavioral Skills
- Ability to build and lead high-performance teams.

Qualifications
- B.Arch – Minimum 3 years of experience in retail décor.
- B.Sc Interior / Diploma in Interior Design – Minimum 5 years experience.
- Relevant Asian Paints experience: DA (3 years) or TL (1–2 years).
- Design portfolio is desirable.
