Summary

KPMG Global Services (KGS) is hiring an experienced Team Leader for Pursuits Capability in Bangalore to drive end-to-end pursuit management and bid processes for global KPMG member firms. The role focuses on managing pursuit lifecycles including RFI, Pre-RFP, RFP, presentations, and contracting, while leading a team to deliver high-quality proposals and client collaterals. The ideal candidate has strong sales lifecycle management experience, team leadership skills, and expertise in leveraging technology, including generative AI, for efficient bid execution. Key Responsibilities

Pursuit Management & Sales Enablement

• Lead the pursuit lifecycle from RFI, Pre-RFP, RFP, presentations to contracting.
• Draft and manage the pursuit plan, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, workstream breakdown, and ownership.
• Facilitate deal qualification, win strategy, competitive analysis, storyboarding, and client stakeholder mapping.
• Draft and review responses, ensuring compliant and compelling proposals tailored to client requirements.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Manage and guide a team to achieve pursuit objectives, providing coaching, feedback, and mentorship.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to improve operational and compliance processes.
• Set goals and participate in strategic initiatives for the team while fostering high-performance culture.

Process Improvement & Technology Integration

• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
• Leverage collaboration tools and generative AI to optimize workflows and minimize manual efforts.
• Implement best practices for operational excellence across pursuit teams.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of end-to-end sales lifecycle and pursuit management.
• Ability to drive sales enablement independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and research skills for proposal development.
• Proven stakeholder management experience in a global setup.
• Bid management certifications such as APMP or Shipley preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for efficient collaboration.

Qualifications

• Education: BE/B-Tech/BBA/BCom/MBA.
• Experience: 5.5–8 years in pursuit management; 1+ years in team leadership preferred.
• Skills: Sales lifecycle management, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, process improvement.
