Key Responsibilities
- Perform requirement analysis, test planning, execution, and defect verification during development cycles.
- Conduct manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and microservice applications.
- Identify test coverage gaps and support performance, security, accessibility, and UAT testing.
- Write clear, concise bug reports and verify defect fixes.
- Develop and maintain a suite of automated regression and functional tests.
- Troubleshoot live issues in web applications and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Champion test-driven development, automation, and best testing practices.
- Assist with test environment setup and configuration.
- Produce test reports, release notes, and quality documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years in software quality engineering and testing.
- Strong experience in automated test scripting using OOP languages for web, mobile, and microservice applications.
- Proficiency in manual, automated, database, and performance testing.
- Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Expertise in preparing test environments and test data.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Exposure to employee benefits, insurance, healthcare, or wealth management domains (preferred).
- Strong communication skills to work effectively in an Agile team environment.
Qualifications
- BE, BTech, or MCA degree.
- Minimum 2–3 years in test automation development (within the 7+ years total experience).
- Certifications preferred: ISTQB, Agile, Test Automation.
