Key Responsibilities
QA Planning & Strategy
- Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to develop effective test strategies, test plans, and requirement traceability matrices.
- Evaluate software functionality against business requirements.
Manual & Automated Testing
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases for manual and automated QA testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and glitches.
- Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure product quality.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare detailed test logs, reports, and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure bugs are tracked, documented, and resolved in collaboration with development teams.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work with cross-functional teams to maintain software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Suggest process improvements and best practices to enhance testing efficiency.
- Stay updated on emerging QA tools, automation frameworks, and Cloud technologies.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of manual QA testing, automated testing, and defect management.
- Experience with Cloud and SaaS applications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and fast-paced delivery environments.
- Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps) and SQL.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in IT quality assurance or software testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Proven experience in QA testing for Cloud-based applications is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, client-focused environment.
