Key Responsibilities

SOC Operations & Team Leadership

• Lead and manage L1 and L2 SOC engineers during shift operations, ensuring efficient ticket distribution and smooth shift handovers.
• Conduct quality audits on L1/L2 offense analysis to maintain high standards.
• Support Project Manager with escalations, root cause analysis (RCA), and timely incident resolution.
• Train and mentor SOC engineers on latest cyberattack vectors, threat detection, and log analysis techniques.

Security Monitoring & Incident Response

• Perform senior-level log analysis, proactive monitoring, and mitigation of cybersecurity threats across endpoints, networks, databases, and cloud environments.
• Manage triage of security events and lead incident response processes.
• Collaborate with SIEM engineering teams to fine-tune security use cases and reduce false positives.
• Conduct advanced threat hunting and malware analysis using tools like Cortex, Shodan, and QRadar.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and implement Security Operations policies and procedures including AWS Cloud security protocols.
• Ensure adherence to compliance frameworks and security best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong foundation in cybersecurity principles with hands-on experience in Endpoint Security, Network Security, Firewalls (IPS, WAF), Cloud Security, Deception Technologies, AV, and EDR.
• Expertise in SOC tools such as IBM QRadar SIEM, Demisto/XSOAR, Qualys, and familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams in a high-pressure SOC environment.
• Sound understanding of incident response, threat intelligence, and malware analysis techniques.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• B.Tech or BE in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.

• IBM QRadar SIEM Certification
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Other relevant cybersecurity certifications

Work Location & Mode

• Base Location: Mumbai / Navi Mumbai, India
• This role requires working onsite at Deloitte’s Mumbai office.
