As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will operate in a technical environment interacting with multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will contribute to multi-disciplinary tasks while providing specialized electrical engineering expertise. This role involves leading reliability, integrity, and performance improvement initiatives for critical electrical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Project Support
- Provide electrical engineering support to projects, operations, and maintenance teams.
- Execute activities aligned with long-term upgrade plans for proactive and cost-effective obsolescence management of critical electrical equipment.
- Lead or support integrity programs for electrical systems to maintain high safety, reliability, and availability standards.
Performance Improvement
- Define and document best practices within electrical engineering.
- Execute performance improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and operational efficiency.
- Participate in risk assessments, root cause analysis, and business/SHE evaluations.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Supervise and support activities of contractors, consultants, and service providers.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to junior engineers in implementing reliability and integrity systems.
- Ensure completion of tasks and activities in alignment with section and division KPIs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 6+ years in electrical engineering within oil & gas or similar heavy industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment integrity, reliability programs, and performance improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
