Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Transformation

• Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation (ETL) using KPMG D&A tools and scripts.
• Coordinate with engagement teams and external clients to gather required data for audit analytics.
• Conduct data validation and quality checks on large, complex datasets.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues in data preparation, transformation routines, and validation processes.

Audit Analytics & Reporting

• Process and analyze data using KPMG Artificial Intelligence (Mindbridge) and KCw Data Workbench tools.
• Develop and present insights via analytic and visualization tools like Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, and Azure.
• Lead or contribute to the delivery of high-quality audit D&A solutions, ensuring timely and accurate outputs.

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Build strong domain expertise in accounting and auditing, ERP systems, and industry-specific knowledge.
• Mentor and guide teams in project management, analytics execution, and client service excellence.
• Participate in design, development, and enhancements for existing or new audit analytics modules.
• Document processes and training materials for team use.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Maintain data confidentiality and adhere to risk management policies.
• Coach and motivate team members, fostering collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity.
• Oversee quality control, identify areas for continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with firm standards.
• Manage unit financials, budgets, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in ETL and analytics tools: Advanced Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, SQL, Azure.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and their functional/techno-functional applications.
• Critical thinker with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to manipulate and integrate large, high-dimensional datasets.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging with international clients.
• Strong team player, self-driven, and capable of working independently.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or Bachelor’s in Computer Applications, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of post-qualification experience in data analytics, ERP, or audit analytics.
• Experience with Big 4 firms or leading audit shared service centers preferred.
