Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Architect at Mott MacDonald, you will:
- Lead architectural design and documentation for steel structures in large-scale industrial, utility, and power projects.
- Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, schedules, and bid documents in alignment with project requirements.
- Ensure quality control and accuracy of all design deliverables and documentation.
- Coordinate with MEP, Structural, and Civil design teams to ensure design integration and consistency.
- Manage deliverables within defined cost, quality, and time parameters.
- Develop presentation materials, 3D visualizations, and BIM models for internal and client presentations.
- Support design reviews and maintain compliance with relevant design codes and project specifications.
Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (B.Arch / M.Arch) from a recognized institute.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on steel building and industrial structures.
- Proven experience in BIM tools such as Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, and ProjectWise (Aecosim) environments.
Technical & Design Skills
- Strong command of BIM modeling and coordination processes.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, LumenRT, and visualization tools.
- Familiarity with industrial and utility building design codes and international standards.
- Ability to interface effectively with multi-disciplinary design teams (Civil, Structural, MEP).
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to high-quality design outputs.
Soft Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization, coordination, and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to travel for project coordination and reviews.
