Key Responsibilities
- Engage technical teams and business stakeholders to propose and implement data architecture strategies.
- Define target state data architecture and drive realization of strategy across projects.
- Participate in data architecture governance bodies and evaluate new technology proposals.
- Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using Erwin Data Modeler.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data models align with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Conduct data modeling reviews and provide guidance on structure optimization, normalization, and integration.
- Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues and enhance operational stability.
- Lead data architecture communities of practice to drive awareness and adoption of modern techniques.
- Facilitate evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess data architecture designs and applicability.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Formal training or certification in data or software architecture concepts.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in programming, architecture, and software disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies and financial services IT systems.
- Expertise in data modeling: conceptual, logical, and physical models using Erwin Data Modeler.
- Understanding of data modeling principles, normalization, and data integration best practices.
- Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and recommend data architecture solutions.
