Key Responsibilities
As a Security Architect (L1), you will:
- Design and develop enterprise security strategy and architecture
- Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and compliance checks
- Identify current and emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Provide product fit analysis across areas such as endpoint security, API security, data protection, zoning, and layered security
- Deliver security architecture aligned with NIST, CIS, and SANS frameworks
- Support disaster recovery planning and incident response
- Technical Leadership & Solutioning
- Lead the design, integration, and deployment of security technologies
- Evaluate and recommend solutions to integrate with enterprise IT ecosystems
- Define target-state solutions and create investment roadmaps
- Support client proposals, RFP responses, and technical sales enablement
- Stakeholder Coordination & Compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders on cybersecurity policies and controls
- Maintain information security risk registers and assist with audits
- Deliver security awareness training to employees and customers
- Provide guidance on phishing, malicious email defense, and compliance requirements
Required Skills
- Mandatory Expertise: Data Security Consulting
- Strong experience in enterprise security architecture and design
- Knowledge of risk management, ITIL processes, and audit compliance
- Hands-on expertise in incident response, disaster recovery, and compliance frameworks
- Ability to support sales, RFPs, and client engagement
Qualifications
- Experience: 8–10 years in cybersecurity architecture or data security consulting
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (preferred)
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, or CISA highly desirable
