About the Role
As an Associate Manager – Infrastructure Advisory (SaT-IA), you’ll lead financial and economic modelling engagements within EY GDS TAS (Transaction Advisory Services). You’ll work with global teams and clients in transport, health, human services, and power & utilities sectors, providing high-quality advisory deliverables, driving business development, and enhancing EY’s service offerings worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client interactions and deliver high-quality advisory outputs across multiple infrastructure sectors.
- Conduct financial and economic modelling, feasibility analysis, and business case preparation.
- Perform cost-benefit and sensitivity analyses, and prepare project finance models.
- Review and validate financial models using VBA and advanced Excel tools.
- Support onshore teams in bidder evaluation, policy analysis, and commercial structuring.
- Collaborate with clients via Teams, email, and virtual meetings, ensuring seamless communication.
- Contribute to practice growth, mentoring junior team members and driving process improvement.
- Travel internationally as required for project delivery and client support.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Advanced financial and economic modelling skills (Excel, VBA proficiency required).
- Proven experience in transport, healthcare, power & utilities, or public infrastructure sectors.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of PPP/PFI frameworks, financial statements, and accounting principles.
- Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, or GIS tools preferred.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
Education and Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA), or
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- 7–10 years of experience in infrastructure advisory, project finance, or economic analysis.
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality financial models and feasibility studies.
