This role offers hands-on exposure to syndicated loans, loan systems, nostro/cash reconciliation, and financial operations, providing an opportunity to impact critical financial processes while fostering team growth and process innovation.

Job Details at a Glance

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor team performance daily to ensure SLAs are met, escalating exceptions promptly.
• Supervise key processes including Deal Closing, Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, Pre-payments, Funding, Rate-Fixings, Fees, and external payments.
• Manage Nostro & Past Due Reconciliation to maintain accurate and timely financial operations.
• Maintain high-quality workflow allocation and ensure compliance with internal policies, guidelines, and controls.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME), resolving complex process queries and coordinating with onshore/offshore teams.
• Implement and maintain Knowledge Management models, including SOPs and training programs.
• Identify training needs, mentor team members, and develop high-potential employees (HIPOs) for future growth.
• Drive small to medium-sized projects to improve operational efficiency and risk management.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant loan servicing or back-office financial experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of Loan IQ or similar loan management systems.
• Expertise in nostro/cash matching, general ledger reconciliation, and SWIFT/remittance systems.
• Strong problem-solving and investigative skills to analyze and resolve process-related issues.
• Thorough understanding of investment banking products, including syndicated loans.
• Ability to maintain a risk and control mindset in all operational processes.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to influence and lead stakeholder conversations effectively.
• Demonstrated executive presence with experience summarizing and presenting recommendations to senior management.
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of the product lifecycle and loan product management.
• Experience working in cross-functional, high-paced environments.
