About the Role: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Senior Consultant

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Senior Developer at Deloitte, you’ll work at the intersection of marketing strategy, data, and technology. This role is perfect for candidates with hands-on experience in marketing campaign development, customer journey automation, and data-driven personalization using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver multi-channel campaigns using SFMC tools: Journey Builder™, Automation Studio, Email Studio, SMS, Push Notifications.
• Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP) and various data platforms into SFMC for seamless data flow and accuracy.
• Build and maintain personalized customer journeys based on behavioral and transactional data.
• Develop custom solutions using AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, and APIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather campaign requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, normalization, transformation, and real-time event tracking.
• Implement mobile app/web SDKs, Salesforce connectors, and manage cross-platform automation.
• Optimize campaign performance through testing, tuning, and data analytics.
• Create and maintain thorough technical documentation and solution architecture.
• Work collaboratively with global teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC): Journey Builder, Email Studio, CDP, Einstein, and Automation Studio.
• Strong SQL scripting and experience in working with large-scale data models.
• Familiarity with web technologies, content management systems, and digital asset management tools.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce connectors, SDKs, APIs, and integration best practices.
• Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, and understanding of JSON data structures.
• Excellent communication, client-facing, and documentation skills.
• Self-motivated team player with a collaborative mindset and high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with marketing campaign design for brands across industries.
• Familiarity with mobile and social marketing technologies.
• Exposure to marketing data platforms like CDP, Customer 360, or Adobe Experience Platform.
• Understanding of data sharing models, segmentation, and security in SFMC.
