Key Responsibilities
As a Risk Consulting Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Lead and execute internal audit and risk consulting engagements for energy companies.
- Interact with stakeholders at all levels, including C-Suite management.
- Conduct end-to-end internal audits: process understanding, walkthroughs, risk and control matrix, control testing, audit report preparation, and agreeing issues with management.
- Analyze Oil & Gas / Power & Utility business processes, identify risks, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Maintain knowledge of Internal Audit methodology and IIA requirements.
- Ensure engagements are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
- Contribute to business development activities including proposals, lead identification, and solution development.
- Mentor and coach junior team members for performance and career growth.
- Maintain proactive client communication and manage engagement budgets.
Skills and Attributes
- Exceptional English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Strong project management and multitasking skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office, data analysis, and validation.
- Flexible and globally mobile with readiness for short-notice travel.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CIA).
- 8+ years of experience in Internal Audit / Risk Management, preferably in the Energy sector.
- Valid passport for travel.
