Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy efficient automated middleware testing solutions.
- Implement automation tools for end-to-end application testing across SDLC.
- Recommend and integrate tools for test management, reporting, test data generation, and defect tracking.
- Collaborate across teams (QA, Dev, PM, Operations) to solve production issues.
- Develop automation strategies for distributed systems and API testing frameworks.
- Work with stub and mocked data for integrated systems.
- Support continuous innovation in middleware quality assurance processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with middleware technologies: WebSphere MQ, IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
- Proficiency in API automation tools: SOAP UI, Parasoft, Rest Assured.
- Solid coding skills in Java and JavaScript.
- Expertise in Internet/Web Technologies.
- Database querying and knowledge of NoSQL platforms.
- Test automation strategy design over distributed systems.
Professional Skills
- 5–8 years of experience as SDET or Middleware Testing Practitioner.
- Ability to debug and solve issues in production environments.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred).
