About the Role
As a Measurement Engineer, you will provide technical advice and support for Production Accounting and Environmental measurement systems. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment accuracy, system reliability, and compliance with QPMG and international standards (ISO, MPMS, AGA). You will also contribute to equipment upgrades, project FEED/EPC stages, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Measurement Systems Support
- Maintain and monitor system uncertainties for all measurement equipment.
- Investigate mis-measurement queries and issue MMRs as required.
- Provide technical guidance for design, construction, modification, and obsolescence management of measurement systems.
- Ensure all measurement systems and equipment meet QPMG and international standards.
Project & Vendor Coordination
- Participate in external meter calibration witnessing as required.
- Assist in updating procedures and preparing/reviewing work and calibration instructions.
- Coordinate with equipment and service vendors, ensuring alignment with operational requirements.
- Review project specifications and attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities during FEED and EPC project stages.
- Recommend spare parts, non-stock materials, and tools to support maintenance of the plant.
Collaboration & Compliance
- Liaise with maintenance and operations representatives to prioritize and manage activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and best practices for measurement system performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal company procedures including MOC, QGPMS, and supply standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in an oil and gas environment.
- Strong knowledge of LNG measurement systems, including orifice, ultrasonic, coriolis, turbine, and analyzer systems.
- Familiarity with ISO, MPMS, AGA standards, and internal procedures (MOC, QGPMS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
