Role Overview
The Site Reliability Lead (Specialist III) ensures the availability, scalability, and performance of EY’s platforms and applications. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to integrate SRE best practices, implement automation pipelines, and enhance system observability for seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve system reliability, uptime, and performance across platforms.
- Define and monitor Service-Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service-Level Indicators (SLIs).
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
- Automate deployments, monitoring, scaling, and recovery tasks to minimize manual interventions.
- Collaborate with global teams to optimize architecture and ensure platform resilience.
- Utilize observability tools (Splunk, Datadog, Honeycomb, Prometheus, Grafana) for proactive monitoring.
- Design and execute chaos engineering and performance testing initiatives.
- Maintain detailed runbooks and drive continuous improvement in reliability engineering.
- Provide leadership on tool selection, standards, and SRE best practices.
- Partner with development teams to integrate reliability, scalability, and performance into application design.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise in containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, Fargate).
- Strong programming knowledge in Python, Go, Bash, or Java.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Bamboo).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing mobile platform reliability (Android, iOS).
- Demonstrated success in leading incident response and post-mortem analysis.
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Exposure to chaos engineering and resiliency testing frameworks.
