Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage high-performance PostgreSQL databases
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and optimization techniques
- Ensure data integrity, security, and disaster recovery with backups, replication, and failover strategies

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience as a Database Architect or DBA
- Expertise in PostgreSQL database design, optimization, replication, partitioning, clustering, and sharding
- Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/pgSQL, triggers, stored procedures
- Experience with backup/restore strategies, database monitoring, and migration tools
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database performance and security issues
- Familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- PostgreSQL certification or other relevant database certifications
- Experience in large-scale database environments supporting government or enterprise applications
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements for databases
