About the Role

As a Core Banking Business Analyst (Manager level), you’ll play a key role in Core Banking transformation and migration projects for Deloitte’s financial clients. You will serve as the link between business teams and technical experts—analyzing requirements, configuring Core Banking systems, leading infrastructure deployments, and driving data migration initiatives.

You will be responsible for ensuring that complex Core Banking solutions—both on-premises and cloud-based—are implemented seamlessly, tested rigorously, and optimized for performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis & Documentation

• Collaborate with banking clients to analyze and document Core Banking requirements.
• Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
• Translate business processes into technical solutions aligned with Core Banking functionalities.

Solution Design & Configuration

• Design and configure Intellect or Flexcube Core Banking modules based on client needs.
• Map legacy banking systems to modern Core Banking frameworks.
• Set up Business Process Definitions (BPD) and recommend process improvements.
• Configure and run EOD/BOD processes, identify system issues, and ensure operational efficiency.

Infrastructure & Environment Management

• Manage complete Core Banking infrastructure setup, including installation, patching, and service management.
• Deploy Core Banking environments (On-Premises & Cloud) independently.
• Handle Patch deployment, including product and custom build patches.
• Configure and manage Load Balancers and Cluster Models for production environments.
• Install and maintain DEH environments on Kubernetes.

Data Migration & Quality Assurance

• Lead data mapping, migration, and validation across Core Banking versions.
• Execute data upload, reconciliation, and issue resolution activities.
• Perform UAT coordination, database integrity checks, and test instance setup.

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and project managers.
• Provide status updates, track deliverables, and ensure project alignment.
• Mentor project team members and conduct client training sessions on infrastructure management.

Required Skills

• 10–15 years of experience in Core Banking transformation and migration projects.
• Expertise in Intellect or Flexcube Core Banking systems.
• Proven experience in Infrastructure Management, Patch Deployment, and Cloud-based Core Banking setups.
• Hands-on knowledge of Unix, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Load Balancer Configuration.
• Proficiency in data migration, mapping, and debugging Core Banking environments.
• Strong understanding of Core Banking data models and database objects.
• Excellent client management, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience leading Core Banking Implementation or Upgrade projects in large financial institutions.
• Familiarity with Intellect Digital Core or Flexcube Universal Banking Suite (UBS).
• Hands-on experience managing cross-functional technical teams and stakeholder relationships.
• Exposure to Agile delivery frameworks within financial transformation projects.
