Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Architect (Java, AWS) at JPMorgan Chase in Mumbai, you will:
- Define, document, and deliver current and target-state architectures for Connected Commerce Rewards and other initiatives.
- Design and socialize end-to-end architecture solutions across technology teams.
- Participate in digital and cross-line-of-business governance processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise to architecture forums, panels, and leadership discussions.
- Collaborate with development teams to estimate costs and assess solution feasibility.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, applying modern techniques to drive innovation.
- Promote re-use, efficiency, security, and stability in architecture design.
- Contribute to a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering and architecture.
- Strong expertise in Java, AWS, Middleware, Databases, and Cloud-native technologies.
- Hands-on experience in UI/UX Architecture (ReactJS, AngularJS, Octagon framework).
- Knowledge of mobile native design (iOS & Android).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and influence teams in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certification (highly preferred).
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in the financial services industry (credit/debit cards, payments).
- Ability to simplify complexity and bring clarity in ambiguous environments.
