Responsibilities

  • Serve as a thought partner to client service teams, providing strategic insights and operational guidance.
  • Conduct operational diagnostics at mines to identify opportunities for productivity improvement and cost reduction.
  • Lead data collection and quantitative analysis for client projects, integrating qualitative insights into benchmark reports.
  • Enhance and maintain internal knowledge databases and contribute to MineLens product development.
  • Lead and mentor groups of analysts for client engagements or knowledge-building projects.
  • Support consulting teams through innovative mining data analytics approaches both on-site and off-site.
  • Participate in international projects, with travel durations ranging from 4–8 weeks or longer.
  • Communicate complex insights effectively to senior client executives.

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
  • 4–7 years of professional experience in mining operations, analytics, or consulting.
  • Strong understanding of mining industry dynamics and operational excellence.
  • Passion for analytics and developing innovative approaches to mining data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, mining software, and advanced analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements and present complex insights to executives.
  • Willingness to work in a high-pressure, results-oriented environment with periodic travel.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

  • Experience in international mining projects.
