Cognizant is hiring an experienced Infrastructure Architect – VDI & Microsoft 365 to join our offshore team in Hyderabad, India. This role is ideal for professionals with 6–8 years of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) experience who have designed, deployed, and optimized enterprise-level VDI environments. Candidates with hands-on expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD/WVD), FSLogix, App Layering (FlexApp, MSIX App Attach), Microsoft 365, and cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS) will be best suited for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
As an Infra. Architect – VDI, you will:
- Design, deploy, and manage FSLogix solutions for enterprise environments.
- Work with App Layering technologies such as FlexApp and MSIX App Attach.
- Provide consulting, design, and implementation of VDI solutions across enterprise setups.
- Manage Azure-based infrastructure with exposure to WVD/AVD environments.
- Leverage Microsoft Intune/SCCM for endpoint management and configuration.
- Utilize scripting skills (PowerShell/Python) for automation and optimization.
- Prepare technical documentation and training materials for teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure best practices in VDI performance, security, and scalability.
Skills & Qualifications
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience with VDI consulting, design, and deployments.
- Strong knowledge of FSLogix, WVD/AVD, and Microsoft 365 products.
- Exposure to Azure infrastructure (AWS knowledge a plus).
- Experience with App Layering solutions like FlexApp or MSIX App Attach.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune/SCCM.
- Advantageous to hold Azure/AWS certifications or VDI certifications.
- Scripting knowledge in PowerShell or Python is highly desirable.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory)

- Microsoft Certified: Intune/SCCM Specialist
