Key Responsibilities
As a Head Project Manager at Siemens Energy, you will:
- Lead and deliver technical and financial project goals across industrial projects.
- Define and implement policies, processes, and project management tools for efficiency.
- Ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and adherence to quality standards.
- Represent Siemens Energy with customers, EPCs, OEMs, consultants, and vendors.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, execution, risk management, and closure.
- Oversee proposal preparation, techno-commercial analysis, and compliance.
- Develop and mentor team members with a focus on leadership, communication, and consultative skills.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across sales, finance, logistics, and customer service.
- Drive vendor evaluation, contract management, and claim management.
- Conduct project reviews, customer acceptance tests, and handovers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong project management and leadership background in industrial applications.
- Proven expertise in Fiber, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Biofuels projects.
- Deep understanding of LV and HT Systems, Siemens Drives & Automation, PCS 7-based Process Control Systems.
- Experience in international business environments with cross-functional leadership exposure.
- Knowledge of industry-specific solutions such as Paper Machine Sectional Drives and Marine applications.
- Strong skills in risk management, contract negotiation, compliance, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
