Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Lead and manage a team of fresh graduates and experienced professionals on international audits.
- Mentor, coach, and review team members to improve performance and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide timely feedback.
- Motivate the team and build a high-performing audit group.
Audit Execution & Client Engagement
- Audit complex sections of financial statements or end-to-end audits in compliance with country-specific statutory requirements.
- Prepare and present audit workpapers, document audit procedures, and record findings.
- Identify issues or missing information and track them until resolution.
- Maintain data confidentiality and adherence to risk management policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with clients and onshore teams for audit progress updates.
Stakeholder Management & Knowledge Sharing
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders onshore and within KRC.
- Share knowledge and best practices across the team to enhance technical capabilities.
- Participate in team development activities such as mentoring and technical training sessions.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong audit and financial statement analysis skills.
- Ability to lead, supervise, and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards and credit risk frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g., CA or ACCA).
- Prior experience in financial services audits with international clients.
- Demonstrated team leadership and supervisory experience.
