Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit activities including risk assessments, audit planning, testing, and control evaluations for Markets business and related functions.
- Partner with India and APAC audit colleagues to identify emerging control issues and report them timely to management.
- Represent Audit in Board meetings and cover local regulatory requirements for Markets business.
- Deliver actionable recommendations to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous auditing programs, monitoring key metrics to identify risks and control gaps.
- Stay updated on industry, regulatory developments, and market trends impacting the business.
- Mentor team members and demonstrate technical competency in audit methodology and practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in internal or external auditing, or relevant business functions.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant financial services experience.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, audit methodology, and risk evaluation.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, capable of presenting sensitive issues to senior management.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, establishing credibility and partnerships with business and control stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset for assessing probability and impact of control weaknesses.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and improve efficiency using automation and innovative technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Advanced Degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Experience with Markets business and India-specific regulatory audit requirements.
