About the Role
As a Senior Generative AI Application Developer at EY, you will work on developing intelligent AI-powered applications for the GDS Tax Technology team. This role requires deep expertise in Python development, cloud (Azure), containerization, databases, and AI/ML frameworks. You will play a key role in shaping how EY integrates AI into tax technology solutions, enabling global clients to improve efficiency, compliance, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI agents, APIs, plugins, and interfaces aligned with EY’s product strategy
- Implement Generative AI models (Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, RAG techniques)
- Build and manage full-stack applications using Python, FastAPI, React (or similar frameworks)
- Architect scalable solutions using Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, Entra ID)
- Manage containerized applications with Docker, Azure Container Apps, AKS
- Work with SQL & NoSQL databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Vector DBs)
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate efforts, resolve issues, and refine methodologies
- Contribute to standards, KPIs, and process improvements for development best practices
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have Skills
- Full-stack development with Python, FastAPI, React (or TypeScript frameworks)
- Strong expertise in Azure Cloud Services
- Containerization with Docker, AKS, Azure Container Apps
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with source control (Git, TFVC)
- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Generative AI application development (Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Vector DBs)
- Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and RAG techniques
- Strong prompt engineering skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with AI Agent workflows and graph databases (Neo4j)
- Exposure to M365 Copilot Studio
- Microsoft AI-900 / AI-102 certification
