Key Responsibilities
As a Developer – Infor ERP LN-2, your responsibilities will include:
- Design, develop, and implement software applications in Baan, Flex Flow, RedPrairie, webMethods, MuleSoft, and .NET SQL.
- Convert functional specifications into technical specifications and development plans.
- Perform solution testing, QA, and debugging to ensure systems meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to select technology vendors and implement applications.
- Support database/server migrations, operating system upgrades, and application deployment.
- Optimize database and application performance with database administrators.
- Maintain and upgrade existing systems while incorporating new UI components and technologies.
- Document development processes, testing, coding rationale, and system upgrades.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide technical support to end users.
- Plan, estimate, and report on project timelines, costs, and deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve business-critical incidents (P1) efficiently.
Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of Baan ERP, Flex Flow, RedPrairie, webMethods, MuleSoft, and .NET SQL development.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.
- Proficient in SDLC processes, including development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Ability to break down complex development tasks into manageable components.
- Experience with Software Control Repository tools like TFS and Git.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in application development or ERP system implementation.
- Familiarity with application development tools, utilities, and job control languages.
- Knowledge of Flex functional standards, policies, and procedures is preferred.
