Key Responsibilities
As a Developer – Infor ERP LN, your primary duties include:
- Convert functional specifications into technical specifications.
- Estimate development timelines for ERP projects using Baan Tools/InFor LN.
- Develop new ERP components and customize existing ones in Baan4, Baan5, and Infor LN.
- Test and validate new developments and customizations against user requirements.
- Create and deploy patches, dumps, and PMC on Baan 4, Baan 5, and LN servers.
- Analyze and optimize existing ERP components for better performance.
- Troubleshoot and debug errors in Baan/InFor LN applications.
- Document all development and testing activities following Flex standards.
- Work on ERP components including Sessions, Tables, Domains, Forms, Scripts, DAL/DAL-2, User Exits, Reports, DOM, Labels, Extensions, LN Studio, and API integrations.
- Adhere to ERP development guidelines, rules, and best practices.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong experience with Baan ERP (Baan4/Baan5) and Infor LN development.
- Expertise in Baan Tools and Infor LN ERP modules: Tables, Domains, Forms, Scripts, DAL/DAL-2, User Exits, Reports, DOM, Labels, Extensions, LN Studio, API.
- Ability to customize, integrate, and support ERP software to meet business needs.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of ERP system optimization and patch management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
- 3–7 years of experience in ERP development, preferably with Baan/InFor LN.
- Experience in manufacturing or supply chain ERP implementations is advantageous.
- Strong documentation and process adherence skills.
