Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute functional automation test cases using UFT (Unified Functional Testing).
- Write and maintain automation scripts in VBScript for efficient test execution.
- Perform SQL queries to validate backend data during functional testing cycles.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Conduct end-to-end functional testing and validation for software applications.
- Assist in preparing detailed test reports and documentation.
- Participate in Agile sprint cycles, ensuring timely delivery of quality testing results.
- Leverage secondary skills in Selenium and Java for automation integration and enhanced testing workflows.
Essential Skills and Competencies
- Strong expertise in UFT automation testing tools.
- Proficient in VBScript for creating automation test scripts.
- Solid knowledge of SQL queries and database validation.
- Hands-on experience in functional testing of web and desktop applications.
- Exposure to Selenium and Java frameworks is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
