Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack web applications across the technology stack, including front-end, APIs, and databases.
- Design, prototype, and implement web application UI/UX solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-performing web applications.
- Support and enhance existing web applications as needed, ensuring code quality and performance.
- Follow agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban for iterative development.
- Implement clean coding principles and design patterns for scalable applications.
- Optimize application performance and maintain robust database interactions with SQL and Entity Framework ORM.
- Contribute to innovative solutions leveraging Aon’s data and analytics capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 5–7 years in full stack development, Angular (Not AngularJS), .NET 6+, C#, ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Front-End Skills: JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and UI/UX principles.
- Back-End Skills: Entity Framework ORM, SQL, relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
- Methodologies: Agile development experience (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban).
- Strong understanding of clean coding principles, design patterns, and application performance optimization.
- Independent, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a cross-functional team environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with JavaScript visualization libraries (D3.js, Highcharts, SVGs).
- Experience with web components using StencilJS or Lit-Element.
- Knowledge of modern data platforms such as Databricks/Fabric.
- Experience with serverless applications and containerized deployments on AWS/Azure.
