The Opportunity
As a Manager – Snowflake & Databricks (AI & Data), you’ll design and deliver high-performance data solutions using Snowflake, Databricks, and PySpark. You’ll work closely with EY clients to develop scalable architectures, optimize data processing pipelines, and drive analytics strategy—especially in the financial services domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
- Develop and manage data architectures and pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.
- Implement data governance, data modelling, and data integration best practices.
- Work hands-on with Python/PySpark, SQL, and Kubernetes/Docker for deployment.
- Ensure security and compliance across data systems (SAML/OAuth/OIDC, MFA, RBAC).
- Collaborate across teams to deliver batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers for large-scale analytics.
- Lead technical solution design, review deliverables, and mentor junior engineers.
- Communicate effectively with global stakeholders to align on data strategy and priorities.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (HDFS, Hive, Impala, Nifi, Airflow).
- Proficiency in NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase).
- Understanding of Azure cloud architecture for big data deployments.
- Experience developing standardized practices for data management and analytics delivery.
- Familiarity with Hadoop clustering and autoscaling techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Education: BE/BTech/MCA/MBA (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field).
- Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years hands-on in Snowflake, Databricks, PySpark, or Big Data technologies.
- 12+ years total industry experience in data consulting, engineering, or architecture.
- Proven expertise in data engineering within Financial Services or Banking & Capital Markets.
