The Opportunity
As a Finance System Manager, you will oversee the integration, maintenance, and optimization of EY’s finance systems and applications. You’ll work at the intersection of finance and technology, collaborating with global IT, finance, and transformation teams to enhance automation, governance, and performance across key financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administration, performance, and stability of core financial systems.
- Coordinate patch management, upgrades, and module deployments in partnership with IT and vendors.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and new releases.
- Lead user access management, ensuring compliance with audit and governance policies.
- Act as project manager or workstream lead for system integrations and global transformation initiatives.
- Support functional design, configuration, and testing for new finance modules and applications.
- Maintain data integrity, reconciliation processes, and documentation for system activities.
- Deliver training and user-adoption programs for finance professionals.
- Partner with global finance and IT teams on requirements gathering and go-live support.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance system efficiency.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors for maintenance, development, and licensing matters.
Functional Competencies
- Strong understanding of finance system architecture and ERP platforms such as Workday Adaptive Planning, Sun GL, Proactis, or Global HRIS.
- Proven experience with system administration, UAT, patching, and user provisioning.
- Sound knowledge of finance functions — GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, and exposure to Power BI or Tableau for reporting.
- Expertise in system documentation, governance compliance, and audit readiness.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent; postgraduate (MBA, CA, CMA) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in finance systems management, ERP integration, or financial IT support.
- Hands-on experience in system implementation, upgrades, and process automation.
- Exposure to the insurance, financial services, or broking sector is an advantage.
- Strong alignment with audit, compliance, and documentation standards.
