About the Role
As a Google Cloud Enterprise Architect, you’ll work closely with customers to transform their legacy systems into cloud-native architectures. You’ll develop scalable solutions across infrastructure and applications while leading cross-functional teams in deployment and delivery. This is a client-facing, leadership position that involves working with partners, system integrators, and customer teams to create innovative, secure, and high-performance cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end cloud architectures to support enterprise migration and modernization strategies.
- Lead cloud adoption initiatives including planning, scoping, solution development, and delivery.
- Act as a technical advisor and single point of contact for cloud delivery engagements.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and partner teams to recommend scalable Google Cloud solutions.
- Provide technical leadership in security, DevOps, data integration, and infrastructure automation.
- Drive knowledge sharing and document architectural best practices for internal and external use.
- Ensure successful customer outcomes through proactive technical guidance and project leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field—or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in customer-facing cloud architecture or consulting roles.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go).
- Hands-on experience with virtualization, cloud migration, or infrastructure modernization projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with distributed systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, or Hadoop.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security best practices including IAM, encryption, and key management.
- Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work with channel partners, system integrators, and third-party developers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate technical requirements into scalable solutions.
