Key Responsibilities

As a Stress Analysis Engineer, you will:

  • Manage and coordinate the preparation phase of Service Bulletins (SB) post-launch
  • Lead all engineering activities related to the SB lifecycle
  • Perform full engineering configuration analysis of aircraft components
  • Build and validate Definition Dossiers for Modifications (Close to Known Mods)
  • Deliver and authorize Design Data Sets (DDS) within approved scope
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and configuration management teams
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring stakeholder communication
  • Provide retrofit engineering expertise to various teams, including RSL and SB Authors
  • Conduct technical checks and validations of SB drafts before approval loops
  • Support customer embodiment, working parties, and real-time query resolution post-dispatch

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Proven experience in stress analysis of primary aircraft structures
  • Strong understanding of engineering configuration and documentation processes
  • Familiarity with M20493 standards and aerospace compliance
  • Experience managing Design Data Sets (DDS) and Service Bulletin production
  • Knowledge of aircraft retrofit processes and retrofit solution engineering
  • Technical review and validation of SB drafts and design documentation

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 2–8 years of relevant experience in aircraft structural analysis, SB configuration, and retrofit design
