Summary

We are seeking a skilled Driller with 8+ years of drilling experience, including 2+ years as a driller, to lead safe and efficient drilling operations on offshore rigs. Reporting to the Rig Superintendent, the Driller will operate and maintain drill floor equipment, supervise drilling crews, and ensure compliance with HSE regulations, AD procedures, and well programs. About the Role

As a Driller, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of drilling equipment, supervise drilling crews, and maintain compliance with company HSE standards and well control procedures. You will play a key role in delivering cost-effective, reliable, and high-quality drilling operations while contributing to a positive rig environment.


Key Responsibilities

Drilling Operations

  • Operate and maintain hoisting systems, mud circulating systems, rotary systems, and well control equipment.
  • Execute drilling programs according to company procedures, AD protocols, and operational plans.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and safety at all times.

Record Keeping & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate drilling logs and operational records.
  • Report any operational incidents, maintenance issues, or safety concerns to the Rig Superintendent.

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Supervise and mentor the drilling crew, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
  • Coordinate effectively with other rig personnel and departments to support smooth operations.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in training and competency development of junior rig personnel.
  • Support emergency operations and risk mitigation measures as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: High School diploma + Technical Degree in Drilling Technology.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in drilling operations with at least 2 years as a Driller.
  • Knowledge of drilling terminology, procedures, wellbore mechanics, and pressure control principles.
  • Skilled in operating and maintaining drilling floor equipment.
  • Certification: IADC Well Control – Driller Level.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding offshore environments.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
