Responsibilities
As a Director – QE Functional/Manual Testing (S/4HANA), you will:
- Lead S/4HANA rollout testing initiatives across modules and lifecycles.
- Build, scale, and optimize test factories for large-scale enterprise clients.
- Define and execute test strategies, frameworks, and methodologies aligned with business outcomes.
- Drive automation adoption and AI-driven innovations in quality engineering.
- Manage multi-year, large-scale testing portfolios and QA organizations.
- Partner with clients, advisory teams, and delivery units to ensure testing excellence.
- Contribute to presales, proposal building, and client advisory engagements.
- Mentor teams, develop talent, and uplift engineering standards within Deloitte.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Proven expertise in S/4HANA testing across modules and program lifecycles.
- Strong track record of setting up and leading test factories.
- 15+ years of experience in QA/Testing with leadership roles in large-scale programs.
- Ability to drive engineering transformations across people, processes, and tools.
- Excellent consulting mindset, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills.
Good-to-Have:
- Hands-on experience with AI adoption in testing and automation frameworks.
- Background in product-led organizations or consulting.
- Experience defining measurable business outcomes through QA initiatives.
