Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales Support & Technical Leadership

• Engage with customers early to understand technical and business requirements.
• Deliver customized product demonstrations and technical presentations highlighting Databricks’ architecture and capabilities.
• Collaborate with sales teams to address customer challenges and align Databricks solutions to business needs.
• Lead customer discussions, workshops, and meetings to translate business challenges into actionable technical solutions.
• Present Databricks value propositions at all organizational levels.

2. Solution Design & Architecture

• Design scalable, secure, and robust architectures using Databricks aligned with customer requirements.
• Develop and present high-level and detailed technical solutions, including data pipelines, deployment architecture, and integration strategies.
• Provide guidance on cloud architecture, big data technologies, machine learning, and AI use cases.
• Collaborate with customers to design POCs and proof-of-concept solutions showcasing Databricks’ capabilities.

3. Collaboration with Sales & Technical Teams

• Partner with the sales team to define and drive sales strategy, assisting in closing high-value deals.
• Work closely with Databricks engineering, product, and support teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer success.
• Contribute to sales collateral, technical documentation, white papers, and case studies.

4. Customer Relationship & Post-Sales Support

• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Ensure ongoing support and guidance to maximize adoption and value from Databricks solutions.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Deep expertise in Databricks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), big data technologies, and AI/ML solutions.
• Strong background in solution architecture, technical pre-sales, and enterprise deployments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures.
• Experience in POC development, deployment strategies, and data integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work with global clients and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10 – 16 years of relevant experience in solution architecture, cloud platforms, or enterprise data solutions.
• Proven experience in pre-sales support, technical leadership, and customer engagement.
• Optional certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Databricks Certified Professional, Azure Solutions Architect.
