Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst / Supply Chain Demand Analyst, you will:
- Develop and maintain forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Monitor model performance and implement improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with demand planners, supply chain teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Conduct back-testing and tool setup for forecasting processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate generation of demand forecasts.
- Promote adoption of statistical forecasting methods and digital tools.
Performance Indicators
- Forecast accuracy and bias
- Forecast value add (FVA)
- On-time delivery of forecasts
- Adoption and enhancement of forecasting tools
Key Collaborations
- Internal: Demand Planners, Supply Chain Analytics Hub, Sales, Finance, Marketing
- External: Customers, Industry Forums, Partners
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in demand modeling (time series/statistical/ML).
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts.
- Collaborative and open to feedback.
- Fluent in English.
