PwC India is hiring a Data & Analytics Associate (Business Analyst / Finance Data) in Kolkata to join its Technology Consulting – FS D&A practice. This role provides a unique opportunity for CA freshers to kickstart their career by helping clients leverage data, analytics, and finance technology to drive business insights, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. As part of PwC India, you will work on transformational projects in finance, risk, regulatory reporting, and profitability analytics, while gaining exposure to Ind AS 109 / IFRS9, ALM & FTP engines, pricing analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Client-Facing Business Analyst Role
- Engage with client teams to gather and analyze business requirements for finance and regulatory projects.
- Assist in solution design and implementation using data analytics and finance technology.
- Support project execution, including client acquisition, on-ground engagement, and thought leadership initiatives.
Finance & Risk Analytics
- Work on profitability analysis, cost management, segmental reporting, and CFO digital playbooks.
- Contribute to regulatory and risk reporting implementation, reconciliation management, and automation.
- Participate in Ind AS 109 / IFRS9 implementation, ALM & FTP engine projects, and pricing analytics.
Data Management & Reporting
- Leverage business intelligence tools, data visualization, and integrated dashboards to deliver insights.
- Assist clients in monitoring performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of finance processes; knowledge of other business functions is an advantage
- Basic problem-solving and data-driven insights capability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and ability to work independently
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
- Innovative mindset with the ability to drive client success and transformation
Optional Skills:
- Knowledge of ALM, FTP engines, IFRS9, risk reporting, and regulatory compliance
