Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager – QA Testing at Deloitte India, your responsibilities will include:

1. Software Testing & Defect Management

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for cloud-based software applications.
• Perform functional testing, regression testing, and system testing to ensure software quality.
• Report and track defects using tools like JIRA and ALM, ensuring issues are resolved quickly.

2. Test Strategy & Execution

• Collaborate with teams to create effective test plans and test strategies.
• Ensure all test cases meet requirements and business specifications.
• Document testing phases and defects for post-release analysis.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Communicate findings clearly to management and stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of quality results.

4. Post-Implementation Testing

• Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to verify the system’s functionality after updates or changes.
• Provide feedback to improve the testing process and reduce the time to market for new features.

Skills & Qualifications

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in QA Testing or Automation Testing are a plus.

Key Technical Skills

• Proven experience in manual testing and functional testing of cloud applications.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, and Azure DevOps.
• Basic understanding of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience in defect management, QA processes, and cloud platforms (SaaS).

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
