🏆 Role Overview
Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced Head of Project Management to lead industrial projects across India. This senior role is responsible for driving technical and financial project success, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and schedule goals, while leading teams and engaging with high-profile clients in industries such as Fiber, Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, and Energy.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, timeline, and cost targets.
- Support sales with timely proposals, technical input, and execution planning.
- Drive process excellence while ensuring compliance, ethics, and profitability.
- Define and implement project-specific processes, tools, and best practices.
- Represent Siemens Energy to customers, EPCs, OEMs, and consultants.
- Lead risk & opportunity management, change orders, claim handling, and vendor evaluations.
- Conduct project planning, scheduling (MS Project), financial controlling, and team setup.
- Manage contract negotiations, customer acceptance, and project closure reviews.
- Mentor and develop workforce capabilities, fostering leadership, consultative selling, and communication skills.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Proposals, Finance, Logistics, Customer Service, and Global HQ teams.
🎯 Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 15+ years in industrial project management, preferably in Fiber, Oil & Gas, Biofuels, or Petrochemical sectors.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record in leading cross-functional, multicultural teams within global organizations.
- Strong knowledge of LV & HT systems, Siemens Drives, Automation, LV Motors, and PCS 7 Process Control Systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract management, risk control, and customer negotiations.
- Excellent communication, team collaboration, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel across India.
