⚙️ Responsibilities
As a Lead ICA Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading detail engineering for all Instrumentation, Control & Automation (ICA) works.
- Reading, understanding, and interpreting international project contract documents.
- Preparing Document Control Index with man-hour estimation aligned with project timelines.
- Designing and reviewing:
- Control system architecture
- I/O schedules, instrument schedules
- Hook-up drawings, cable schedules, UPS sizing
- Control room layouts, loop diagrams, and more.
- Creating basic designs for ELV systems like:
- CCTV
- Access Control Systems (ACS)
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Telecom
- Providing P&ID and control philosophy inputs to the process team.
- Preparing RFQs, evaluating vendor offers, and ensuring technical closure.
- Managing vendor coordination and client discussions for technical submissions.
- Ensuring engineering document approval in two or fewer revisions.
- Participating in HAZOP/CHAZOP workshops with clients.
- Leading interdisciplinary coordination with other engineering teams.
- Verifying FEED/Detail design packages to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Standardizing engineering systems and processes.
- Monitoring project timelines, deliverables, and cost compliance.
🧠 Skills & Expertise
- Deep understanding of Instrumentation & Control Engineering
- Proven experience in Water & Wastewater Treatment Projects
- Strong grasp of ELV systems (CCTV, ACS, Fire Alarm, etc.)
- Ability to lead ICA packages through FEED, design, procurement, and execution
- Familiarity with international standards (e.g., IEC, ISA, BS, ISO)
- Excellent document control and project tracking capabilities
- Effective communicator with experience in client/vendor negotiations
- Collaborative leadership style with project delivery mindset

B.Tech and/or M.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering, Control Systems, or related field - Experience:
