Key Responsibilities
As a Software Design Engineer – ADAS, you will:
- Design, develop, and test embedded software for ADAS applications
- Implement software features for:
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Lane Departure Warning
- Collision Avoidance Systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
- Hardware Engineers
- System Architects
- Algorithm Developers
- Integrate software components with hardware platforms and sensors (e.g., LiDAR, Cameras, CAN, Ethernet)
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to software development best practices
- Analyze and optimize software performance to meet real-time processing requirements
- Utilize tools such as MATLAB and Simulink for modeling and simulation
- Support verification and validation using simulation and test environments
- Follow automotive safety standards and contribute to system-level design discussions
Required Skills & Tools
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
- Hands-on experience with embedded software development and real-time systems
- Knowledge of ADAS systems, including camera, radar, and LiDAR integration
- Familiarity with Ethernet, CAN protocols, and sensor interfacing
- Exposure to computer vision and machine learning is a plus
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and simulation/testing tools
- Understanding of safety standards and automotive software lifecycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 3–5 years of professional experience in embedded software or ADAS system development
