Key Responsibilities
🏗️ Structural Design & Review
- Review and validate structural design models, DBRs, and detailed drawings submitted by consultants.
- Ensure structural integrity while meeting cost and timeline goals.
- Perform design checks and collaborate on engineering optimizations.
🔄 Interdisciplinary Coordination
- Act as the key liaison between structural design, architectural, MEP, costing, and site execution teams.
- Address and resolve queries from site teams in a timely manner.
💡 Value Engineering & Cost Optimization
- Suggest cost-saving structural alternatives and modifications during design review.
- Participate in value engineering workshops to optimize structural design without compromising quality or safety.
📋 BOQ & Costing Support
- Prepare or review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on approved design.
- Coordinate with the costing team to ensure budget adherence and provide technical inputs on quantity take-offs.
Required Skills & Tools
- Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE)
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and BOQ preparation
- Strong understanding of IS codes and real estate structural design standards
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. or B.Tech) in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in structural design and interdisciplinary coordination
- Experience working on real estate or infrastructure projects preferred
